Our Party Events field is a lovely one acre paddock ideal for gatherings of up to 100 people.
Situated on the Leicestershire/Derbyshire border and in the heart of the National Forest it lies next to extensive woodlands and a nature reserve.
Whatever idea you have in mind, you have the ideal blank canvas to create a truly memorable party, event or chill out weekend.

COST Basic hire of the field is £220 per day.
This is for the field only and does not include toilets which you will need to add to your costs.
To make your event extra special we are able to help with a range of other items.

We can also help with other toilets, music and catering as we work with a number of local, trusted suppliers.
Should any of your guests wish to stay on and explore the area or prefer not to camp then we have two self contained self catering studios available for £90 per night. Draughtmans Corner The Luminaire
Both contain twin beds and a small shared garden.
Unfortunately neither are suitable for children, but dogs allowed in Draughtman's Corner.

Is there good access to the field?
Yes. There is a wide track leading off the road.
Is there water and electricity?
Yes. Both are available on the site.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, but they must be kept under control and cleaned up after.
Is the site suitable for motor homes/camper vans?
Yes. There is some hard standing in the event of wet weather.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
To ensure your event goes without a hitch please read the following carefully:
Payment Terms:
A £200 deposit is required at the time of booking.
In the event of a cancellation the deposit is non-refundable.
You are responsible for clearing the field after your event.
Full payment must reach us 1 months prior to your booking.
Any damages or excessive clearing up will incur extra charges.
Additional Services
Toilets are compulsory.You may hire your own or you can use one of our suppliers.
Marquees - we have two marquees and a party tent which can be hired.If you wish to hire your own please check with us first to ensure we can accommodate.
We have a moveable fire pit area which, within reason, can be sited at various points around the site.For health and safety reasons only logs purchased from us can be used on the campfire.You may use your own BBQ but they must be off the ground to ensure the grass does not scorch.
Straw or hay bales are available to hire, but any which are broken or unusable will incur a £5 charge.
Cutlery, tables, chairs and crockery for 50 and a commercial washing up sink can be hired from us.See ‘Costs’ for prices.
Arrivals & Departures
Day bookings begin 9.00 am and end at 10.00 pm.
Weekend bookings begin 9.00 am on Friday until 10.00 pm on Sunday. Access outside these hours can be arranged with prior agreement but may incur an additional charge.
When you leave the site, it must be cleared of all rubbish.
Music & Alcohol Policy
If you wish to play amplified music, whether it be from an ipod playlist, DJ or live band, this must cease at 11.00 pm.
Amplified music must only be played on one night of your stay.
Acoustic music around the camp fire may continue until midnight.
Music may require a TEMPORARY EVENTS LICENCE available from North West Leicestershire District Council. Rules have change recently so check.
If you wish to sell alcohol you MUST have a TEMPORARY EVENTS LICENCE and should ensure that any outside supplier has applied for one.
Other
You must be aged 18 or over during your hire period and be responsible for your guests and employees, the condition of the site and all property and equipment brought onto the site.
You must ensure all external suppliers have appropriate insurance.
The price is based on a maximum of 100 guests. If your party exceeds this number please contact first to discuss.
If glass is broken during your stay, please be thorough when removing it.
Whilst we have made every effort to ensure the safety of the site The Party Field is situated on a Working Farm therefore guests are only allowed within the boundaries of the field or on the lane to the site. We will not be held responsible or liable for any accident, loss or damage whatsoever to persons, vehicles, equipment, tents, accessories or contents during your stay with us.
Safety
For your safety cars must be parked in the parking area only or by your tent.
The Party Field is surrounded by a network of footpaths and tracks which are used by the general public. Parents should ensure children are properly supervised at ALL times.
We do not allow fireworks.
We reserve the right to cancel any stay or party and ask you to vacate the site should you or your guests not adhere to these conditions, and no refund will be made.
